Socrates before Death

Sōkratēs did not only enrich philosophy with new ideas, new methods, and new conceptions but he also brightened it with the element of heroism. He effectuated the heroism of philosophy and simultaneously sent the message of the philosophy of heroism that constitutes the lever in the flow of history.
The glory of Greece is owed to the fact that she gave prominence to heroes and wise men. Sokrates was both. Therefore, the majority of people, especially the Greeks, consider him an exemplar of supreme being.
