The story unfolds like an enchanting journey throughout Greece, where Soteria visits various cities—Athens, Thessaloniki, Volos, Kalamata. At each stop, she meets children and families facing difficulties: orphaned children in hospitals, young ones afraid of separation from their parents, families in crisis, even stray animals needing care. With each embrace, with each kind word, Soteria shares not only her scientific knowledge but something far deeper: her boundless love. The fairy tale closes with her meeting the mythical straw from the manger of Christ, symbolizing that true magic comes from faith and selfless giving.
Imagine a world where kindness has wings and travels from city to city, touching those in need. This is exactly what “The Good Fairy of Soteria” is—a fairy tale that bridges reality with magic, showing children that anyone can become a fairy when they give with their heart. In an era when children are bombarded with screen heroes, Litsa Kapopoulou gifts us a real hero: Soteria, who through her knowledge as a doctor and psychologist transforms into a contemporary fairy. This book is not merely a story—it is an invitation for children to discover their own magical power: the ability to heal with love.
This book is ideal for parents and grandparents seeking fairy tales with deeper meaning that teach without preaching. Children aged 4 to 10 will be enchanted by Soteria’s adventures while gradually understanding messages of compassion and solidarity. Particularly suitable for educators wishing to enrich their lessons with values, as well as families going through difficult times—the book offers comfort and hope in a simple yet deeply moving way.
